ASE classes are always popular with the kids! The ASE program offers a wide variety of fun and engaging class. Past favorite include chess, basketball, beginning guitar, creative writing and topology.

SCHOOLMATES
Schoolmates is a fee-based program run by Piedmont Recreation Department that provides child care for elementary school aged children (grades TK - 5) during the academic school year and during the summer and vacation periods. Schoolmates classrooms are located at each of the three elementary schools in Piedmont: Beach, Havens and Wildwood.

PIEDMONT LANGUAGE SCHOOL
Piedmont Language School is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded 40+ years ago by Piedmont parents. We offer classes in Spanish and Mandarin to children TK thru 6th grade before and after their school day. We have approximately 250 students per year learning languages and discovering cultures through our programs.

In addition to our self-funding classes, we manage a community fund to support world language instruction in Piedmont schools. With your help, we can continue to provide grants to our teachers for professional development and classroom enrichment.

PIEDMONT RECREATION DEPARTMENT (PRD)
In addition to Schoolmates, Piedmont Recreation Department offers a wide variety of interesting classes after school and during school vacations. Programs are offered to all age groups. Major services include: Fee-based classes, sports programs, schoolmates, cultural arts, and special evening and holiday activities.
